BEYONCE

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter, known as Beyoncé, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child, and rose to fame in the late 1990s as lead singer of R&B girl-group Destiny's Child.

Over the years Beyonce has changed her logo and font many times. An example of this would be the three album covers above. The cover on the left is one of the oldest and the cover on the right is the most recent. All three covers are very different. They appear to get a lot less detailed and a lot more simple as her fame rises. When the first album was released she wasn't as popular and had just became a solo artist, therefore her album cover had to be colourful and eye-catching with both a clear image of her and a clear title so people could recognise her. Her next album had a slightly larger image of her however with a plain background. A couple of years on she named her most recent album 'BEYONCÉ', the cover of this contained no image and had a plain black background, the font used is very bold and is a light pink colour representing her as a feminist as pink is a stereotypical female colour.

Beyonce is know for her "fierce", "strong" performances which include many dance motifs that have become famous over the years, much like her signature stage pose which she does in every performance. The pose is strong and her face has no expression, this signifies power and control which resembles her brand.
